At B.R.D. we regard as a fundamental step in the proces of designing an
internal combustion engine the execution of a virtual model of it, in
order to execute a thorough computerized simulation in advance of the
physical realization of a prototype to submit to instrumental tests.
Thus at B.R.D. we execute a most accurate virtual modeling
of each component of the engine and then all these components are assembled.
Thanks to the experience acquired with tri-dimensional CAD software for
mechanical designing, B.R.D. is the perfect partner to fully exploit the
potential of today’s most advanced software of this kind. From the
earliest stages of the designing process, highly advanced modules are
employed in order to fully manage parametrical-associative modeling in
order obtain a final project not only detailed down to each component,
but also fully checked in its mechanical functionality.
These computerized models are suitable for a variety of simulations: cinematic,
static, dynamic, fluidodynamic, acoustic, vibrational and for interferences.
These models make these simulations possible both directly at B.R.D. or
at the premises of the client.
